Phoenix, AZ – OfficeMax Supports Houston and Phoenix Youth
Rainbow Housing Assistance Corporation (Rainbow) is proud to announce the generous support of local OfficeMax managers in two cities. OfficeMax joined in the Rainbow 5th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive donating backpacks in two cities. Working with local District Leaders, the youth of Rainbow’s Houston and Phoenix-served communities received backpacks as part of their outreach efforts.
OfficeMax joins a long list of other national retailers that helped make this year’s event a success. OfficeMax makes regular product donations to schools and teachers a company-wide priority through their Kids in Need Foundation.
This is the fifth year that Rainbow has hosted this annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive benefiting the youth of the apartment communities that it serves. The program began in 2009 by identifying the need for low-income youth to be equipped with all the supplies required in order to start the academic year off right. As Rainbow continues to grow, demand for backpacks and supplies for the 2013 school year skyrocketed. To fulfill this need, local organizations were given the opportunity to directly participate by donating to local communities.
